- nobody's going to hold your hand or slap your wrists if you mess up. it'll just be easier to fire you.
- you have to keep thinking forward and ahead.
- try to perfect yourself.
- there's no room for mistakes.
- don't give anyone a reason to think you aren't competent for the job.
- always offer a solution to every problem.
- know all the rules and abide by them.
- remember who you're working for.
- don't think that what you did is just "good enough." guarantee 99% of the time, it's not.
- people are going to call you out. your employers are going to let you know whether they like something you did or not. they'll tell you if it's bad or good. that's their job. it's their job to tell you what you need to fix and improve. be ready for it.
- and lastly, welcome to the real world. everything is just as scary as you imagined it would be.
