Chicken Noodle Soup But No Soda on the Side.







Super easy chicken noodle soup

Ingredients: 
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup of chopped celery
  • 4 cans of chicken broth
  • 1 can of vegetable broth
  • 1/2 lb of cooked chicken breast fillets
  • 1 1/2 cup of egg noodles
  • 1 cup of sliced carrots
  • 1/2 tsp of dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp of oregano
  • some salt and pepper
Directions:
  1. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Cook the onion and celery in the butter just tender for 5 minutes
  3. Pour in the cooked chicken breast and vegetable broths/chicken broths
  4. Stir in the noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt and pepper
  5. Bring the broth to a boil, reduce heat to simmer for 20 minutes just before serving.
Makes 6 servings. Cook time: 35 minutes, which is why it's so freaking easy.
