Staring off into space when you're supposed to be working on something and you have the TV on but the sound is off because you can't stand the loud chatter of commercials reverberating through your room talking about free trips to Vegas or asking if nation wide is really on your side but you have something playing in the background anyway out of the corner of your eye that makes you feel like you can now hear your thoughts. I don't know why I insist on keeping the TV on but the sound muted, it's a strange habit of mine.
