What meant to be a quick question that I was asking my coworker over the phone that meant to take about 5 minutes ended up being a 45 minute conversation that started from how businesses die out to jury duty to the legal system then led to the 1994 OJ court case then back to "so this is what I think you should end up writing, okay, anymore questions?"

It's weird where conversations wind up when you give it a chance to let it go on longer than necessary. This is also how you end up showing lots of different sides of yourself while learning about the other. Maybe this is what the nature of getting to know people is all about. You can't force it; you just sort of let it flow and see if they'll catch up. Or you see if you can catch up to them.
