OC fair part 1

I had a fantastic time at the OC fair on Wednesday. You know it's summer when everyone hits up the OC fair in Costa Mesa. It literally is the definition of hot weather and freedom from school. The OC fair is an amalgamation of fried food, janky carnival rides, livestock, agriculture, horticulture, and homemade craft products to take home as souvenirs. Seriously though, I usually avoid eating at the OC fair every year. I know that sounds stupid because for the most part people attend the fair just for the food aspect but I can't personally handle all that fried greasy stuff. Literally what they do is take anything that's edible, put a stick throughout, and dunk it into a fryer then serve it to the public. Fried chocolate covered bacon, fried avocado, fried Kool Aid, fried oreos, even fried BUTTER (gross!) you name it, they have it, in the name of all things artery-clogging, heart-stopping type 2 Diabetes!

We did a lot that day. We saw the livestock and the pig races. By the way, the pygmy goat has become my new favorite animal. They're so cute! We also saw the art exhibits and food exhibits which showcased all the wins from the citywide contests.

Cartoon Network mashup! I really want to buy this and hang it in my bedroom.

The 3 previous artworks were by this guy who had a whole display stretched across a portion of the entire exhibit room to himself. He apparently used to work for the Peace Corps and experienced a lot of culture in third world countries, which is where he draws most of his inspiration.

Contest winner with Breaking Bad cake! It was so dope!

Monica hates this photo. Kind of.

Shameless selfie. Gina, who the hell do you think you are.
