"All good things must come to an end"? Really? Who made THAT stupid rule?
So you’re saying that when you have something good and you get to have it forever, this “good thing" will eventually become “bad" with time? Or is too much of a good thing actually a bad thing? Is that what happens? It automatically loses its “good" label because what, you either become bored with it or you’re sick of it? Should we just leave things the way they are so as to preserve the “good" that we can remember in the future? What if time drags on and you will one day wake up and realize that this “good" thing has turned into a “meh" or a “whatever" thing now? Do we as humans just not have the capacity to experience too much of a good thing because we won’t know how to handle it, embrace it, or better yet, learn to not get sick of it and let time do its thing? But then what if good things don’t HAVE to necessarily end? What do we call that?
Furthermore, is that what the phrase “It’s better to leave the party early" actually means? Should I leave the party early so as to not turn this special “good" thing into something terrible? Is the host of the party going to eventually resent me for never leaving their house? How do I know that it has potential to turn bad? What if you’re letting go of the good because of what other “life experts", famous musicians, or Beat writers have told you? What if you’re letting the best thing that will happen to you in life get away from you simply because you’re afraid you’ll become bored with it, or that it’ll turn bad? What then?
What if I told you that good things don’t necessarily all have to come to an end?
