What You Will Need:
- 1 bag of individually wrapped Hershey Kisses Brand Milk chocolates
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cup of flour
- 1 tsp. of salt
- 1/2 cup of Reese's Brand peanut butter morsel chips (optional) I added this because I like the extra peanut butter taste.
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, beat butter, add sugar and peanut butter. Beat until creamy. Add 1 egg and vanilla extract. Add flour, baking soda, and salt into the batter.
3. Take a small hunk of the batter with your fingers and mold them into walnut sized balls. Roll in white sugar (I put the remaining unused sugar from the box in a small bowl and coated them there) then place on baking sheet.
4. Bake them for about 8-10 minutes. (Baking times will vary according to the type of oven you are working with. Mine tends to be pretty weak when it comes to baking large quantities so I usually add another minute or so to any recipe)
5. During the last 2 minutes of baking, place 1 individual Hershey Kiss into each cookie (just the top of the cookie, otherwise if you press down it'll break into the bottom of the cookie when you cool them.)
